and death
and angels who sing
glorious things on high.

Bend the sky,
Son of Man,
to touch our hurting hopes.
Burn in the dark
a light,
so bright,
the angels shout
and rejoice.

Grow the deep
lighter, whiter.
Shine wonder,
ever brighter,
on the darkened soul.
Fan the flame,
dearest One.
Render us whole.
