I AM Listening

"I AM Listening" is an original mixed media abstract horse and bird painting on 30 x 40-inch and 1.5-inch-deep gallery-wrapped canvas by DJ Hejtmanek. 

Jesus took Peter, James, and John up the mountain to witness his transfiguration in the presence of Moses and Elijah. Peter was overwhelmed and desired to capture the glory of that moment and build shelters. But glory cannot be contained, attained, detained, or restrained. Like trying to embrace the wind, wonder can only be witnessed, felt, and heard. God sometimes doesn’t call us to work but to watch; He doesn’t expect us to build, but simply be. He reminds us not to speak, but to listen. Being a witness to glory is not a small thing. Follow his paths. Applaud his marvels. Listen to his Son.
